Vivekananda Institute of Indian Studies is hosting a virtual Summer Internship program for the students from University of Iowa from the 30th May to 9th July, 2022. The spirit of engaging on the virtual mode and pursue their passion of taking up internships is being aptly reflected by the Five students who are a part of the program this year.
        
        The mentors at the Vivekananda Memorial Hospital, Viveka Rural Livelihood Centre, Viveka Tribal Centre for Learning and the healthcare initiatives at SVYM, Bengaluru are mentoring the students to have a virtual online internship experience.
        
        Webinars on topics such as Introduction to India and its heritage, Health care in India, Disability, Gender & health, Education in India, Socio- economic empowerment initiatives at SVYM by the faculty at SVYM have added significant value to the contextual understanding of the students. The Internship program concludes in the First week of July 2022 with the presentations by the students.
