6 students from Case Western Reserve University led by Prof. Sree Sreenath visited VIIS as a part of “Global Issues and Sustainability in India” program during May 2019. The students learnt about Indian philosophy, Indian Epics, Carnatic classical music, Leadership & Customs in India. They also visited Vivekananda Memorial Hospital, Viveka School of Excellence, Sargur and rural livelihood centre at Kenchenahalli apart from visiting a residential rehabilitation centre for the homeless with mental illnesses at Mysuru.
