VIIS signalled its collaboration with Vanderbilt University through its “ Online Webinar Series” in May 2020. In the event of the students’ inability to travel to Mysuru, India for the full-fledged program, an interactive webinar series was hosted for Six students from Vanderbilt University USA, as part of a course called “Health and Wellbeing in Indian Society”. The objective of the program is to introduce the students to the social sector, holistic health services, agricultural practices and other allied areas. Prof. Elliott McCarter Senior Lecturer in Hindi-Urdu, South Asian program facilitated the webinars. The following resource persons shared their expertise and insights on the topics identified which paved the way for prospective interaction by the students.
