Two students, Blair Ann Proteau and Emma Claire Norton led by Prof. Patricia C.Rutledge, Department of Psychology and Erin Zehr, Teaching Assistant were part of the Summer Internship program from Allegheny College this year.
During the first two weeks of their stay, students had classroom sessions on History & Culture, contemporary Political & Economic situation, Health care system, Disability, Gender & Health in India. They also visited some of the historical & cultural sites in and around Mysore apart from Palliative care & Self Help Group programs of SVYM, which helped them to connect to their classroom sessions.
