VIIS conducted two one day workshops “Understanding India” for the graduate students of Government First Grade College, Kuvempunagar, MDM, V-Lead & Yuvaraja College of Mysuru.
        
        This workshop intended to enlighten Indian youth about some important aesthetic, cultural, and scientific knowledge domains of India and create a sense of national pride and patriotism. With the preparatory understanding about the richness of our country the workshop throws light on the present challenges faced by India and how the youth can contribute to the development of the country with best of his/her capacity and capability.
        
        The workshop covered sessions on “Living Traditions of India” by Mr. Nithin Sridhar, “Perspective of Science & Technology in India” by Mr. Ramesh Kikkeri. An activity based session on “India today and what next” was led by Dr. M.R Seetharam.
        A Short video on India’s developments & achievements and quiz were also part of these workshops.
